Washington Butler was born in Puyallup Washington State, became interested in arts as a child. She participated in choirs, competed in singing contests, and appeared in both high school and local theatre. She relocated from Los Angeles to study theatre at the University of Southern California and later, she played Belle the princess in Beauty and the Beast for a year and a half at Disneyland. Her departure from college was to search for an agent. Then she began casting and working in television and in film. Butler appeared as an actor on the TV series CSI: Miami, CSI: NY. Butler played Jennifer Hills who, following being brutally attacked by a forest cabin, and then gang-raped, seeks revenge on those responsible. Steven R. Butler began shooting The Stranger Within, a psychological drama The Stranger Within alongside Estella Warren and William Baldwin in Mallorca Spain beginning in November of 2011. In addition to New York City and Copenhagen The film was scheduled to shoot in Copenhagen Denmark. She also became part of the crew for Treachery in which she featured Michael Biehn. The independent feature film was filmed in Los Angeles in early 2012. Butler was in The Demented (2013), produced by Michael Welch with Kayla and Michael Welch.
